if you are a manager then how could you forget 'encouragement' because this is one of the best technique that help you to get your work.Accordingly and timely follow up to your subordinates with encourangement will help you to get a good response from them otherwise it need not take time to get away from you.
Encouragement also helps to build a sound relation between Manager and it's subordinates.

Encouragement, as I learned late in life is one of the best ways to motivate people to do better in whatever area they are doing. It is sure do better than punishment or discouragement. A manager who knows his ware right will incorporate the ability to encourage and motivate in his arsenal of weapons for a better performance. Without encouragement, a lot of workers will not do well. We thrive and want recognition through encouragement that we are adding value to people.
