Black Lives Matter. A movement? An Attitude? An obvious statement. There are many questions about how this became something that isn't just said, but sometimes misinterpreted, misunderstood, and even a mystery. My Black life matters, I prove it everyday. But one day someone, somewhere made a statement with this statement that had people trying to understand what it means by trying to understand how it became something more than a meaningful statement. Well, from what I gather there has been talk of it being a brainchild of someone who is not black. There is also the ways in which these multifaceted three words make some feel. Honestly, I appreciate the appreciation of Black life, but how can we come together on the positive meaning of this social awakening?

The movement has so many puzzled. Yes, lots of people have misinterpreted the movement. Some are offended because son perceive the movement as saying that other lives don't matter.

Hi Teep11. What you are saying is true. I hope that people can come together on a more positive meaning of this while tackling misconceptions and allowing for meaningful dialogue.
