I love the four letter word that starts with 'F'. Before your dirty minds start churning immoral thoughts, the word I'm talking about is 'free'. LOL! Don't we all love 'free'. So yeah, I got an email from my suppliers that I'm getting free gift cards from the major shopping center and department store here in the country. That's five thousand pesos worth of gift cards that I can spend in any of their stores. All I need is to drop by their office to claim it. Since the office is just one block away from my office, I went there earlier. Claiming the gift cards was a breeze. In the reception area, the receptionist had a warm smile and greeting. After giving my name she just checked in her lap top if indeed I was in the list. She then asked for an ID. After checking the ID, she asked me to take a seat and my gift cards will be given to me. While waiting, I was offered a free drink and newspapers and magazines to read. They did say that further verification is needed but wouldn't take long. After just five minutes, another employee approached me and gave me my gift cards. I was made to choose the denominations that I prefer. Turned out that their cards are available in P500, P1000, and P2000 denominations. I got five pieces P1000 gift cards. I was then asked to sign a voucher. Proficient process. Warm reception. Free... I wish everything was such. Did you guys got anything 'free' lately?
