Chuck Norris is one of the most popular American legends there ever was, he's a martial artist, actor, screen writer, producer and, also served in the Air Force, that was actually where he earned the name Chuck. After the war he won the middleweight karate champion title and, held it for 6 years, in 69 he had the most tournament wins and, was fighter of the year by black belt magazine, he also made history in 1990, becoming the first westerner to become a 8th degree black belt master. Some of my favorite Chuck Norris movies are An eye for an eye, Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in action, Delta Force, The Presidents man and, probably my favorite role he played was on tv as Walker Texas Ranger, one of my favorite shows, it lasted for 8 seasons.

When I was a kid I was a fan of Bruce Lee and Jacky Chan. I didn't like Chuck Norris for the main reason that I just couldn't seem to accept a white man doing martial arts! I was young, ignorant, and a racist. Please do take note of WAS!

Chuck Norris was the best of the best back in the day, but I think we all go through that a little when we're kids.

@TRBRocks420 I have only seen a couple movies with him. The one that sticks out the most for me is Sidekicks. I haven't seen that movie in years!

Yes, I believe he is the only or at least the first American to achieve that level.
