I recently got a pen pal letter finished, and remembered some things that I wanted to send her, so I finally got the chance to print out the letter and get everything together today.
Tomorrow, Mom and I hope to be able to visit the post office, provided we don't have too many boys for all of the seat belts (one of which doesn't work...).

@xstitcher I understand your pain there. I dont' drive either and the post office isn't close. We have a postal facility (not the main branch) but it's still about two hours of walking to get to.

@xstitcher It's been years for me. I think I've written cover letters and a few professional ones. I have about five old love letters from early post-college days (from the 1980s) in my desk drawer. I still read them now and then.
