Some Of The Waiting Is Over

Well, I received the call I was waiting for. My thyroid operation will be on August 25. There are a couple of test I need to do beforehand - EKG and such and then they will be whisking my thyroid away. Now that I have a date I can relax and move on. I will post how it all went as soon as I can in the days after. It's time to move on to more positive things. If I dwell on it, it will make me crazy. I have a jewelry order to complete and send out by Friday so I will turn my mind to that. It's a fairly easy one, it's one of my easier patterns. Between that and writing I should be busy. But, not so busy that I can't take some time out to do a little reading. It is a beautiful day outside. The birds are happily splashing in the birdbath and eating out of the bird feeder. It makes me happy just watching them. What will you be doing today?

Getting my hair done LOL. Just had a thyroid biopsy few months ago. K, one of cousins, had a tumor removed from her's. Another cousin had her thyroid removed and is doing fine after medication adjustment. Good luck. We call ourselves the Thyroid Triplets

@Hatley I wish they would outlaw telemarketers. Thanks, I am still waiting for them to release me for the surgery that they have already scheduled.

I'm so happy for you that you now have a surgery date. Just try to keep yourself busy so you won't have time to think about it. Do you make jewelry too? I used to several years ago and have been wanting to get back into making it again. I really enjoyed it but unfortunately, never made a lot of money on eBay. But I enjoyed it anyway.

@simone10 You would be better off putting your jewelry on etsy or amazon. I enjoy playing with the beads and making designs. I do try to keep busy. I hope the time passes quickly.

August 25 was weeks ago. Gosh, I was really out of myLot for so long! How was your surgery? How about a biopsy, after? In case there was, what did it say?

@KnehKnah I am on the road to recovery even as we speak. As for the biopsy it was malignant but I am lucky. It is no longer in my body, it was contained in the thyroid.

Well, the usual we don't have internet connection the whole day. I don't know what happened. I'm tired of calling our isp. And as of the moment, looks like connection works fine.
