Overslept / myLot

Meant to get up early this morning and mow, I overslept. By the time I woke up, I had a headache, and it was super hot out. I still have the headache. It's still super duper hot out. Maybe later tonight I can mow. I really do need to get the front yard done. To be honest though, if there was a kid in the neighborhood I'd give up something for the month of august to pay them to do it. It's just too hot! So, who wants to come mow my yard? I pay in pies. lol

You would love being here in Latvia. Our weather is cool and rainy @Jessicalynnt hope you feel much better and can get your mowing done. I love the photo but it does seem like a lot to mow.

and that's just the BACK yard. the front is what I need to do today, it's not as big at least.

usually August here is also super hot but right now its high seventies to low eighties so have yet to even turn on the ' aAC til it gets uncomfortable in here do be careful of that high temps as heat stroke is no fun and be sure to drink plenty of water.

Lol, I hate mowing in the heat-not my cup of tea at all either. That's why my husband does it.

Pies huh? That sounds like a good deal. Maybe a kid will do the lawn for a pie and $5. That'd be nice.

sometimes i also wake up with a headache because of my tmj/tmd if you do find a kid who will mow it, would it be early in the morning or late in the afternoon so it's not too hot for him?

I hope you're feeling better today @Jessicalynnt (headache). I know what you mean though about messing up (time-wise). I've been waiting for over a week for my lawn-mower guy to show up. The Mexia Grass (tall, skinny, seed, weed) is clear up to my behind.

Super duper hot here yesterday as well. Not so bad today, though it's still hot, going to rain later and I see it's all clouded up. I hope you were able to get your lawn mowed.
