Man Attacks Flamingo

I think we reached a new low today. A man at Busch Gardens in Tampa picked up a flamingo and threw it to the ground. It was hurt so badly that they euthanised it. It was a dancing flamingo named Pinky. I don't know what is wrong with people. It makes me mad and terribly sad to think that someone would do such a vile and sick thing. What do you think about it?
The man "attacked one of our animal ambassadors, a Chilean flamingo known as Pinky."

I blame it on a lot of things, but mostly how kids have been raised the last few decades. I had better not get into it, but I think kids need limits and when they don't get them, they are at sea as to what is acceptable while being very angry at a world that doesn't work the way they were taught it would. People don't mature any more because there seems to be no reason for them to. Immaturity leads to lack of self control.

@akalinus I watched it. I don't know how anyone would want to hurt something like that

Nothing is as it used to be. The world does not work the way it should. It makes me angry, too.

Make sure you watch the video of the flamingo dancing the Flamenco. It is so sad that he did that to that innocent bird.

I cannot believe that someone did such a cruel thing. I cannot stand people who are cruel against animals, I would do the same to him. If he is insane he must be put in a hospital, else, put him in jail for the rest of his life.

@akalinus If someone can be so cruel toward a poor animal, he can hurt even children and other humans.

@akalinus If he's willing to hurt a defenseless animal, he wouldn't think twice about doing it to a human.

That is so cruel of that man! Good if the flamingo attacked him first then, he can do it also in self defense .

It was just standing there being a flamingo. It did not threaten him in any way.

@akalinus It's sad to see so many "sick" people running around hurting other people and animals. Why can't they just mind their own business and.leave others in peace?

How can someone do that to an animal that is not bothering him? This bird did not attack him, he is evil, in my opinion.

@akalinus I can understand killing animal for food but killing animals for no reason for sure is very disturbing.

Don't understand why would someone do such a thing. I'm hoping the man gets the help he needs. So unfortunate for the flamingo.

I think the man should be prosecuted and put in jail. Something like that is too horrible for words.

My dad was reading this last night and this made me so mad. What makes people do these kinds of things. The flamingo wasn't doing anything and this man just attacked it. People piss me off because of how stupid they are.

That was a pretty extreme thing to do. It borders on insanity. Why else would someone do a thing like that.

@akalinus People do things like this all the time to animals for no reason other than they are crazy and hurting animals is a symptom of a psychological disorder that normally leads into killing or hurting people.

I have never seen one in real life but I have seen them on tv in books and movies and the thing that strikes me is their beauty and gracefulness not to mention the long delicate legs. How could he do such a thing? He is full of s much anger and hatred! He needs Jesus! seriously!

I have seen them in Disney. I don't live near the water. We get Sandhill cranes here, big tall birds. They are protected so no one messes with them, just take pictures and videos.
