Enjoying the Jeanne d'Arc Garden

Like all cities, Quebec has some lovely gardens. One of our favorites is the Jeanne d'Arc Garden. It is located close to the Plains of Abraham and the Citadel. My granddaughter Amie is a college senior and has plans to join the Peace Corps and eventually get into organic farming. She loves gardens and we made sure that we took her to several places where she could enjoy the plants. I have a photo blog post coming out that will feature a lot of the flower photos. I am sharing one of my favorites here.

She is a very socially conscious young woman. I worry though since she is all of 80 pounds and not quite 5 feet tall!!

@BelleStarr I hope she will do well with it. It sounds like she's going to have some challenges with her height and weight.

@BelleStarr I haven't been in so long. We did a family trip to Niagara Falls once and it was spectacular! Once i have some money saved up, and once I have a new passport, I'll be looking for a bus trip to somewhere in Canada so I can just go with a group and visit for a while. Change of scenery would be so great!

@BelleStarr did you find more, we have a botanical garden that's amazing north of Chicago it takes us hours to get there as we are south of Chicago and you have heard the horror stories about the traffic.

It was my son's idea we do usually walk in the garden on most trips especially if we stay nearby which we have done in the past.
