Woke up about noon. Hadn't gotten to sleep until about 3a. Josh was up until 12:30a. He does that every once in awhile. Cami got groceries. About $215 worth. I was beginning to wonder how we were going to do groceries if we had another spraying to go through. So that is a relief. We still have a big balance at Housing so the gal said not to pay rent this month and she will call us on the first of next month and she will let us know what our balance is then. The Idaho City fire is only about 30% contained. There are nearly 1400 firefighters working on it now. It started near Idaho City and is now close to Lowman which is to the north. They say if something doesn't change it could be burning until September. I am putting up with the smoke. I have a headache and the occasional vertigo experience. But I enjoy the cool fresh air too much to close the window. When it gets hot I will. We might get some rain in a few days. That will sure be nice. Battlebots was entertaining. Some of those robots are hardy.

I hope the area gets a good long rain soon and the fires are rained out. I feel sorry for all the fire fighters out there. I hope they all survive and that you guys wont have to smell smoke for long..

We had a little this evening. I wonder if it reached the mountains. We live in a valley.

And are burning about 4,000 acres a day. They are having people leave their homes in a certain area and they said it could go on burning into September.

@arthurchappell .....They were hoping they would have time to plant food for the deer before fall. Looks like they will have to find another way to feed them.

My daughter bought a lot of groceries for here. They were to last while she got a new vision card and then it would be food stamp time again. Here we are with plenty of food, but down to all of the foods that take more preparation and no one wanting to cook.

@celticeagle It's been cooler here the past few days so we've been baking and cooking supper in the oven while we can. I'm actually sitting here with goosebumps right now with the air conditioner set on 80. I wish I lived alone so I could turn it off!!

@marsha32 .....That's nice. I leave mine on longer than most would too. I like it to get good and cold so it takes a while to get back up to a uncomfortable temp. But that's just me.

I'm glad you got some food in the house. It's great you have a balance with the apartment for your housing. I hope you get rain soon to put out those fires. I hope it doesn't burn until September. I'm glad you're able to put up with the smoke.
