#8 in my Favorite Kissing Songs series belongs to the B52's "Wammy Kiss."
B52's formed in 1976 in Athens, Georgia, home of R.E.M. Named for the beehive hairdo's worn by vocalist's Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson, B52's began playing an often surf-oriented brand of new wave, eventually becoming one of the 1980's most popular party bands.
(Fun fact you probably already know: B52's were the band that inspired John Lennon's comeback.)
"Whammy Kiss" was from the band's 1983 album Whammy! It was released as a single, peaking at #9 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
Spoiler alert: "Whammy Kiss" is the most fun of all the songs in this series!

my favourite kissing song is Kiss by Prince though the Tom Jones cover version is good too but Prince's is great
RIP (1958-2016) "Kiss" is a 1986 single that was released by Prince and The Revolution, from the album Parade. The original radio/music video version did not...
