I earned my keep this morning.

This morning I got up early and dressed up for the Bank. I have had a lot of problems there, problems that are worse since I changed my credit card a little before going for my vacations. I had made a mess as money problems go because I am acostumed to take care of my money and now I had to buy air tickets for the whole family. I added in a bad way and discovered too late that I did not have enough money to pay for the credit card before I went to St. Maarten. I talked then to my executive and I only paid half of it. But the interest of what I did not pay was a lot. So today I went, paid it all anddecided to be more careful in the future. I also paid the amount of dollars I had spent so that they would not charge me for changing it into chilean pesos with a fee for doing that. Banks always win. The incursion into the supermarket was far better. I found out that chicken were on sale and I bought a big one. I cleaned it and placed it in the freezer ready to be roasted maybe next week. I was planing to have a small nap before mylotting, but my friend Lili called me crying. Her mother has big health problems and she is quite old. She has noone to turn to as her only brother is schizophrenic and that is another object of worry. She cannot have her mother at her home for more than a few days and she is looking for a home for her. I am sure that she will find a nice place with time but right now she has to relax a bit. I told her that she can call me at any time she wants me to. We have been friends for decades.
