Why can't religious leaders and clergymen give comforting answers to people when death or a disaster strikes?

Most likely its because they don't know themselves what the Bible says concerning why there is so much suffering going on in the world and in peoples personal lives. These clergymen probably do not know where to look for the answers in their Bibles to give a satisfying comforting explanation of why things in the world are so messed up. Please, please, don't tell me and others that God needed another angel.

We have an extremely staunch Hindu religious leader here, who had once said Earthquakes occur because women wear jeans and top, which is an attire considered derogatory in a smaller regressive and conservative Hindu circle. Does it get any weirder ?? Pseudo Religious leaders are everywhere, you see.

Lol! Some religious leaders can come up with the most ludicrous explanations when giving an explanation for world problems and personal suffering. Out of curiosity: Do your religious/sacred books back up what this religious Hindu leader said? :)

@itslikethistome Absolutely not. That person has been largely condemned for his unpleasant speeches and remarks. These kinds of thoughts are restricted within small circle of people. For the larger mass, we try our best to peacefully coexist with diverse cultures and traditions. :)

@positivesoul Thank you. Happy to hear that your sacred writings do not sanction this person's words and remarks. I'm a blue jean gal myself during leisure times :) Thanks again for sharing apart of your religion with me.
