Busy weekend filming "Eight Types of Crazy"

I mentioned the other day that I was asked to take a part in an independent feature-length film called "Eight Types of Crazy." I did not get my lines until Friday and we started working Saturday, but after several readings, I did okay.
Today we film another interior scene. I have a rather long two paragraph series of lines to work on this morning, so will make this brief.
The younger members of the crew will take an actual road trip to Albuquerque, New Orleans, Nashville and New York City and even have a drone to photograph some of the spectacular scenery along the way. There must be some great funding for this movie.

@JamesHxstatic Wow. If you were over here I'd tell you to go talk to the folks at The Masquers theater in Soap Lake. They put on some pretty good plays.

@sallypup I gave up theater years ago, due to the time commitment. You kiss two months goodbye.

Recently, I've become intensely interested in "how it's made" features on the DVDs I rent from netflix. I used to think I'd like to work in movies, maybe as an extra, but the more I learn about the process, the less attractive it becomes. Early morning hours would be the end of me, not to mention having to memorize lines, and do it quickly.
My respect for everyone in the movie industry increases by leaps and bounds as my behind-the-scenes education continues. I don't know how you do it.

@JamesHxstatic Oh yes, I'm sure! In the special features sections of movies, etc., I love the outtakes. Forgotten lines, fits of giggles, props failing, wardrobe malfunctions, etc., all quite entertaining on their own.

They were understanding of my not knowing the lines perfectly since I got the script on Friday morning.

I'll keep this brief. Good luck. (Or should I say, "Break a leg"?)

Either way works. It is always fun and fun that my part is over too.

It is really a fun thing playing the role of someone in a film.I think you will act well because you have mentioned in a post that you played the role in a drama many year ago.
