Suppose a couple got divorced or separated, do you think they should unfriend their ex’s friends and relatives on Facebook and other media sites?

No, not if they are all comfortable & friendly and enjoy each other's company.

I guess it all depends on the individuals involved.

I think that is up to each person to decide. I am still friends with my x's nieces, we are FB friends and keep in touch. the rest of his family - no way.

Yes, I'm sure it depends on each individual's relationship with friends and family of the EX.

If both spouses have the same friend, they should both be able to keep that friend.

Yes, I guess it all depends on how important the friendship is.

I have never unfriended any of my ex boyfriends, their friends, or their family. I am friends with all of their friends just like they are mine. I also don't remove photos that were taken of us. I have a past and I don't regret dating them. If my new boyfriend can't understand that I have had past relationships or is so immature that it is a problem then I don't want to date him anyway.

I can see that you have a very good point there and a good way of looking at this situation.

I know that it all depends on the individuals involved. Some would stay friends and some would not.
