Do You Believe In Psychic Ability?

I'm not just talking, psychic as in a fortune teller. I just wonder if you believe in psychic ability. Have you ever felt that something was about to happen and it did? How about that feeling you get when something just seems off? Is it possible to know what one is thinking and feeling from far away? I've always felt energies and I've always had a feeling of things. How about you? Any strange happenings?

I don't believe in traditional psychic ability, but I do believe in intuition. Sometimes you just get a feeling that something is wrong. I Have learned to trust those feelings even if i turn out to be wrong sometimes.

But what causes us to have that intuition, that "feeling?" There's no doubt that many people can "sense" things before they happen, but has anybody ever tried to pinpoint what in our minds or bodies or gut or wherever is causing us to have those intuitions? To me, that would be the intriguing story, figuring out the source of where our intuitions come from!

@ChildofGod81 I'm a Christian too, and I can agree with your comment. However, there are millions of people who aren't Christians who have those same feelings of intuition. I've been reading lately that researchers are starting to discover that our "gut" almost acts as a second brain in our body, and actually is responsible for many of our "senses" and "feelings" we have. I just find it completely fascinating!

@moffittjc In my case, since I am a Christian and I believe in God, spiritual things and the like, I like to believe that those intuitions are God's way of telling me things. He protects me from bad things by giving me those intuitive feelings to keep me out of danger. I can't tell you how many times I've avoided horrible things by simply listening to that "gut feeling."

I truly believe in the power of our brains, I don't have the willpower to train though. I experienced that the power of thoughts is real, like if you think of something strong enough (but not all the time), that thought you had is going to happen. Then some people are naturally sensitive to the vibes surrounding them, and can recognize them. It might be intuition, or we're open enough to our soul (which is supposed to be always right) so we can hear it.

Agree with you. When our vibes(thoughts/will) is of the same frequency as of the universe, things happen the way we we have thought.

@anamika161088 That could very well be true. I do believe that as well.

I like that. Some of us do have more sensitive vibes than others. I have it in some things, but not everything. Our intuition may always be right. I admit, sometimes I question it, even if I was right about something.

Sorry but I don't believe in "psychic" things. But you can persuade us, nonbelievers, by telling us more about it, based on your experiences.

No need to persuade anyone. What you believe and feel is your right.

Unfortunately, only a few people can have that ability, were still on the stage of evolution and continously evolving. right now, I think most of us are not ready for this kind of power. someday, perhaps.

It doesn't have to be the power but there are things that some people say, that actually happen. It's hard to describe it but it is a very interesting thing.

It's OK. You don't have to believe in what others do. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
