Got extra hours yesterday!

I find it funny this girl was asking everyone to take her shifts. When she was caught in the lie about the other girl taking her shift she claimed she would be in. I was at work Saturday during the day when the manager asked me if I could come back for 4 more hours later on because this girl called in sick. I am wondering why they even keep this girl around.

Me as well. She doesn't even work when she is there.

@marie42 Me as well. They are pretty useless and have no work ethic.

I am unsure why they fall for this and they know. The manager just shrugged her shoulders, I was like really.

@ricki_911 makes no sense. Not many managers would just shrug their shoulders at something like this.

@dodo19 I know! When I was a manager ok one time or two times with a decent excuse (or over a period of time). But when its all the time literally every week.

I have worked with people like that and it seemed to take a bad mess before they
would fire the person. then one day I offered
'to help her and ended up doing my job
and hers my boss asked me why I was not
takin my lunch time and admitted I was
doing her book cart. she c alled the girl in and fired her for foisting her job off onto other workers.
