Tonight I went to the internet archives, I still call it the "wayback machine." and looked at some of the old myLot pages. I do wonder what happened to some of the myLotters and have been looking their nicknames up to see if they may have come back. There are some folks who I have on Facebook, but I wish there were more. A few went to the Facebook group for old myLotters, but then that changed to a bubblews sharing thing. It makes you wish you'd learned more real names & all. Anyway, do you ever backtrack in the archives to look things up?

I have also a few friends who do not liked the new look and left after giving it a try. I was also preferring the old myLot, and I needed a long period of adaptation, but it has improved and I appreciate the new myLot now.

@topffer that's why I didn't stay the first time I tried to come back. But I'm used to it now.

Sometimes I search in the internet archives. There were many people I knew on Bubblews, some are here now, but many have disappeared.

@LadyDuck, I knew quite a few users on Bubblews, but they do not seem to be here.

Some of the nicknames I remembered to look up and a lot I didn't. I didn't find them under their old nicknames

I didn't know it existed until a friend of mine on here gave me a link to it, and there were lots of my Bubblews posts there. I thought they were gone for good.

Things *can* live forever on the internet but people have to know where to look, so. ..it was a funny sense of nostalgia to see some of those nicknames there.A who's who of myLot, lol

and then you just search with the web address you're looking for. There are lots of old myLot pages and discussions there. I wish I had never let myself get upset by stupid people and left. I lost track of lots of mylot friends I really liked.

I have a look to an old link times to times. The wayback machine lacks a real content index, or many pages will be lost forever...

I never tried it myself, but I read posts from those who did... It's neat to learn a bit of history or recall memories from the past of something that we are interested in...

sometimes people are looking for someone, or want to remember an old poem they put online

I sometimes get the urge to explore old webpages, but it is always when the computer is off. Not worried about it anymore, once the machine is on

I wanted to find some of the old myLotters, but haven't found them, at least not under the same nicknames
