School!

In the United States we are starting school this month? Have your kids started? Are they excited and nervous about the upcoming school year? My daughter is ver nervous about the third grade. She starts Wednesday.

My daughter is starting 3rd grade soon as well. She usually gets nervous the night before. To be honest, I also get nervous for her. I remember my school anxiety didn't go away until I was a freshman in high school. I am looking into ways I can teach her to deal with her anxiety. Maybe kids yoga or meditation, affirmation work.

That's a great idea! I get nervous for her too. I think she felt better after she met her teacher at open house today. She is very friendly and that made Lily very excited.

My kids are all grown but my granddaughter is entering college while her little brother is starting Kindergarten.
