They took me to see "The BFG"

Yesterday my daughter took me and my grandson to the cinema to watch Disney´s The BFG" about a little orphan girl and a friendly giant. I liked it as I´m at that age where children´s tales are better than horrifying adult movies. But I was amazed to listen to all that my daughter (a spychologist) and her son said about the movie. I am not so sure if I would have liked Cinderella as much if I had had someone tear it apart and discovering social problems. And while it is true that many of my grown up short stories deal with twists to fairy tales, I guess the real thing has to be left alone. For, does it stand to reaon the Cinderella would have such beautiful and tiny feet when she walked barefooted al the time among cinders?

Yeh we probably should not go back and analyze these things, it ruins the entire experience. Cinderella's feet should have been black and blistered for sure, lol.

Not to speak of those glass slippers. They must be very uncomfortable.

Shucks, I used to walk around all the time with no shoes and my feet weren't black. I love Disney movies and still watch them.

You are right, she has beautiful tiny feet, this is a reason why I like my small feet.

I still envy Cinderella for having glass slippers hahaha. Never mind her black feet due to always walking barefooted.

I like how you put it that way. I think it is the first time I thought of Cinderella like that. But then, it will always be my favorite fairy tale of all times.

I prefer Little Red Ridding Hood. She was quite a rebel!

@marguicha My favorite romance fairy tale is Cinderella, but Hansel and Gretel tops my list for the non-romance. It is my favorite since I was a child, pushing the witch in the oven just struck me as genius back then! :)
