MY BROTHER SHOT SOMEONE

my brother is 16 years of age he is currently in jail for shooting someone it did not kill him it just injured him...the story is my brother is 16 and this 30 year old man kept picking on him he bashed him up ever time he seen him he gave him black eyes and bruise's nearly once week this went on for atleast two years then one day my brother just snapped after this man bashed him up again he ran inside and came out with a 22. caliber rifle and shot him he did not aim the weapon he just fired and it hit him in the in the arm ...what is your view negative comments are welcome i would just like to know what you think?? i think someone can only be pushed so far

Bullying can hurt someone else, and make another do things that was unusually. For me that is a self defense but if I were the 16 years old, why he didn't tell it to the older than him?

@Mich1987 You have point there, if his 16 years old brother went to his dad and tell him that "Can we put him on jail by bullying then everything is fine and the man will be on jailed." We dont know why they didn't do that.

@tech40 I agree with that, a simply situation can solve with a lawyer that is why we have country rules, and anti-bullying is part of our country rules

@blazeone Okay I've just read all your responses. Your brother was backed into a corner, it's hard imagining another way this could have ended.It could have come out with your brother getting killed. Very sad for your family.. I'm so sorry.

@CinnamonGrl yes he was backed into a corner he went to the police many times my mother and father also went to them the police know this man well and they still done nothing so i guess he took it in to his own hands there's only so much one can take before they explode

If you get a lawyer everything is already end since it was started. Bullying can put him on jail

what is a laywer ment to do they only defend you in court and you have to have a police charge to go to court and the police wouldnt do nothing so what good is a laywer if the pplice wont charge him?

The twenty year old man sounds like a bully and your brother should have gone to his dad and the police as there must be laws about bullying a much young boy thats terrible. I do not condone shooting but your brother was pushed too far I do wish he had had someone to go to to p;ut a stop to that bullying.

I am sorry to hear this. I have to agree with you that a person can only be pushed so far before they snap. A 30 year old had no right to be beating up on a 16 year old. No matter the age it just shouldn't happen. Was the police ever called before the shooting incident or did your brother just try to deal with the problems without getting the police involved? It is the good thing that the man was killed because he would have ended up serving a longer time even though the man drove him to it. It was self defense. How long is he in jail for?

yes the police were called many times he even had a apprehended violence order (avo) againts this man witch was ment to help my brother and keep this man away from him but i did not stop this man from hurting my brother over and over again. and his trail hasnt begun yet he has been in jail for 7 months so far
