Do you ever join a site and then decide you don't like it?

I have done this so many times. I join on the recommendation of a friend or read how great it is on an online forum and then wonder what all the fuss is about or find I don't really understand it. I like straightforward sites which are easy to navigate. So many seem to be disorganised and cluttered so that it's hard to find your way around. Does this happen to you at times?

Yes, I was invited to join new sites so many times and most of the times the sites were disorganized and cluttered. At the moment I only write here.

I am doing Forum Coin and here and I like both of them although I think the potential to earn is better here if you put the work in.

@sprite1950 You cannot make plenty of money here, with a little effort you can make one dollar a day.

Yeah. i joined tinycents and it's hardest place to make money. I wonder who are claiming to be making a lot on tinycents.

I saw this mentioned somewhere else on here, There was speculation that it was Arvind's site (from Bubblews). If it pays that badly maybe he is being careful this time! I saw you on ForumCoin this morning :)

@skysnap Yes I have been there around a year although I took a long break and have only just gone back. Do you think tinycents is worth it?

@sprite1950 Yes it seems someone else is running the site. they pay the money based on users locale. for example for US Citizens tinycents pays with amazon card. in case of indians they send flipkart card etc ... so it seems the site is some sort of project like bubblews. You're on forumcoin? great.

Yes, Sprite, it sure has! When I went walk-about from Bubbs I joined so many sites looking for one that felt like "home" to me that it wasn't even funny! (Well, it is funny now, but only because I will find a site that looks interesting and join it only to find articles I wrote already on the site...) My name and avatar have been right there with the articles I wrote... I read them and then suddenly remember why I left that site the first time I found it. Usually something to do with the owner's honesty or something similar caused me to walk away from them. (shrug!) I walk away again. I am most happy to see you back, Sprite! I hope you stay at least for a little while!

I think I will stay for a while this time. I have had a family crisis over the past few months which curbed my online activities a little but things are improving now and it's great to see a few old faces :)

@sprite1950 I am sorry to hear your family was having problems, Sprite! I am glad to hear things are smoothing out for you/your family again! (If there is something I can do to help, you know how to contact me. You are always welcome to contact me, you know!) I'm not too sure about you seeing any OLD faces here, but I am taking your comment as you meant it instead of the way it could have been read!

It has happened with me many times. I recently joined a writing site which seemed promising but then there were sudden change of rules and the site became too vague and uncertain. I am not writing there anymore and I can't remove my posts also as the site doesn't allow it.

Yes some sites sound very dodgy. You were probably right to leave.

I recently joined swagbucks again and then wondered why. I really don't like that kind of site so I will probably not go back.

Yes, it also happens to me from time to time to join a site and not be satisfied by it, but I generally don't close my account on any site I join, I just leave the sites I find unconvincing in standby. Even if I doubt that those sites will improve, I leave the gate open for them and check them out once in a while. You never know what might happen, they could have a new owner who would be interested in making them more attractive for users. Such a thing is unlikely to happen, but I can't exclude such a possibility completely.

Good thinking. I usually try to join a site and forget I already joined years ago! It will tell me the email is already in use.

Same as you, I like a straightforward site. If my mind cannot understand the interface, I will sure be logging out in an instance :)

Sometimes I can't even find a way to delete the account and then I keep getting junk mail which is annoying.

Yeah when I first got the internet back in1994, I had Prodigy. It was too hard to navigate so I switched to AOL. But yes a few months ago I joined Blogjob, but I really didn't like it.

I don't join sites because a number of people joined them. I do extensive research and observation for months before I decide whether to sign up or not. So far, the sites I'm with are user friendly.

I can very well relate to you. I also did join several sites only to find out they are not to my taste. Just like you I like user-friendly site and I think mylot is one of them apart from the fact that myLot never cheated members.

Once joined a site and left. Not because I didn't like it. I just never found a comfort level. The comments module felt awkward and they paid on bitcoins, a form of currency I'm not familiar with.

Yes it has happened from time to time. You never know what a site is all about unless you try it. I will give it a try and if it is not for me then I will make the decision to leave. Not all sites are good and some of them can be very complicating to follow.

Yes that is what I have found. I site I joined yesterday had great reviews but I really didn't understand it. I may go back and have another look but probably won't stay for long
