There is an artcle in the NY Daily News from a recent issue about a 41-year-old woman in California-- where physician-assisted suicide was recently legalized. Anyway, this woman has ALS aka Lou Gehrig's Disease aka Motor Neuron Disease and will eventually lose all mobility and possibly the ability to swallow and speak -- and eventually die. She decided to have 2-day celebtration of her life with her closest friends before having a doctor end her life by way of drugs. What do you think? If you were suffering feom a terminal illness and could legally have a doctor help you die, would you do it? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think it depends on the situation at hand
