What I love about the Olympics.

What I love about the Olympics, of course it's the competition, you have the best in the world, at every different event, for every country that qualifies, but also I love the sportsmanship and, genuine happiness, they have for others, who win the Gold, even if they don't, it's very classy and, something you rarely see today. One girl just helped another girl, who hurt her leg finish a race and, they told a story of a Dad, who came out of the crowd and, helped his son finish a race.

You're right but the Egyptian who refused to shake the Israelis hand in the judo is very distasteful. If countries want to take part they should be well mannered and be sportsman like....this situation was wrong.

Yeah, that is a bad example, most all of them I have seen are hugging, shaking hands and, smiling.

@TRBRocks420 That is so sweet! I really love seeing stuff like that. Seeing people helping each other warms my heart and gives me some hope for humanity.

Me too my friend there is no greater showing of human compassion then to help someone when you don't have too.

I hope the Olympics can be a pure competition of sport rather than another arena of political game in the various countries.

@TRBRocks420 Yeah, we should see the positive side of the Olympics, but i read some negative news from the online media in my country, especially the unpleasant conflicts of swimmers between China and Australia.
