Didn't totally waste the day

Canada

Didn't spend much time here. It rained so I didn't do any work outside. I didn't write anything yet and it's after supper. I didn't work at fixing the floor or anything else inside. I can still say the day wasn't a total waste. I transferred photos from a memory stick that I will be able to use on my wood turning website. That sounds simple but there was an awful lot of stuff on that memory stick. It took me quite a bit of time to find it all. This laptop also has USB port issues to further complicate things. For those reasons I feel good that this work has been completed. I believe I have enough photos of my work to be able to make a rudimentary but operational site for selling my work.

Days aren't ever wasted if we're breathing and can see the sun. Sometimes there will be days when less is done but there's still productivity involved.

You were still productive and that's good. I am lazy this morning and got up only to feed and play with my two fur ball babies. Then I'm back to bed and now mylotting. I wish there won't be any emergencies today that would make me go to the office.

Hope you don't have to deal with any emergencies either. My last couple days weren't much fun but tomorrow I have the day off. I just get to play taxi for the boys when they finish work.

Sometimes, just finishing one task is better than a lot of time spent partially finishing a lot of tasks.

True. Finishing a task means it is no longer on your to do list.

Sometimes 20% of the work takes 80% of the time and effort.

It's the background work that nobody really sees that takes up most of the time.

My Friday was like that. Set out to do several things, and not one thing got accomplished.

I get days like that. I don't have the energy levels I once had.

Thank you. There is a lot of work to do before I can effectively do this but I have a pretty good idea of what I need to do and how I'm going to go about it.

At this point I think a lot of the photos will be barely adequate but photos can be updated as I make new stock.

I could have gotten more done but my body was telling me to slow down. Been a rough couple of days.
