During my morning walk I have noticed that the hazelnuts on the branches are almost ready to be harvested. I like the taste of hazelnuts, fresh, toasted or covered with chocolate they are healthy and good. The hazelnuts contains protein, carbohydrate, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They are good for your skin, muscle and bones, it's a shame not to eat them. Do the hazelnuts grow in your part of the world? If you can find fresh hazelnuts, you can make your own hazelnut chocolate spread. It's easy to make and so much healthier than the spreads sold in stores.

What a shame! I love any kind of nuts, I am only allergic to peanuts, but they are not nuts, they are legumes, like the beans and peas.

Chocolate bars with hazelnuts are very common here in Switzerland. I think that the most famous chocolate with hazelnuts paste is the Nutella in your country.

I love to go out picking nuts in the woods. We have to go before the nuts fall on the grounds, because the wild boars also love the nuts.
