I wrote this off a month ago after they closed, but Examiner paid me! YIPPEE!! $9.55 when I wasn’t expecting it. So. Off to paint the town red. Or maybe buy some cat food and yogurt after I set aside my 20 percent for taxes. A happy thing.

Yeh I read they'd payed out recently. I used to write there a long time ago, but I had nothing coming anymore. Congrats!

Thanks! The first I heard of it was an email saying something came to my PayPal account. That doesn't happen every day.

@msiduri yes, she was. a third, marymargll, was paid, too. it's always better to pay everyone, big or small, before closing shop.

Yes. And I'm enjoying it. Not a whole lot of money, granted, but it's more than I was expecting.

@msiduri - Almost ten bucks is not too shabby. Motivation to keep on keeping on. Beats the daylights out of losing a tenner in a game of one-shoe tiddly-winks, doesn't it?

That's cool that they paid you. Too bad that other place didn't.
