My wife ran out of Splenda, now she hates using sugar in her tea.

For years both of us were off sugar and lost lots of weight, then I went back on sugar and she stayed on Splenda. This helped her keep the weight off and she did not mind the taste of it in her iced tea. When we ran out of Splenda this month to help pay off the window guys from The Home Depot do the repairs she decided to try sugar instead. The result, she is drinking more water. That is a good thing but if she hates sugar in her tea it is because sugar is not good for a person's health especially if they have borderline diabetes and to prevent full blown diabetes sugar should be avoided in all sorts of foods and beverages so I will be getting a large box of Splenda packs as soon as I can. I probably should cut my sugar in half myself and only drink my coffee and tea straight.

I need to cut down my sugar intake as well. Easier said than done though. I have soda, chocolates, ice cream, and cake more times than I can count!

It is a lot harder to do than most people even imagine. If you do this on your own more power to you.

Sugar is not a good thing for health but the taste buds seem to crave it like crazy. I watched a video about sugar and how it feeds the bad bacteria of the gut. It this is true then sugar is not good at all and the corporations don't want us to know why.
