When bad things happen to children

This morning I read a news article about how a 2 year old boy was found in a carton box by the roadside. The photo in the news was so heartbreaking. He was unconscious when found and was discovered to be suffering from brain hemorrhage. Fortunately he survived.
How can someone do such a thing to a little innocent child? He is probably may be quite mischievous. I know because my grandson is nearly 2 and he can be quite a handful. But these are just children that cannot defend themselves.

Some people are so cruel. I hope whoever did this to the boy is caught and punished.

If blunt force trauma was the cause I hope the police do an investigation and whoever did that to the poor little boy, get's punished ASAP!

Rally saddening how can some people hurt (batter) a child like that! The culprit should be punished.

It may be out of frustration that lead the perpetrator to that but he or she should have seek for assistance from relevant authority. The perpetrator has lost the child and his or her own conscience no doubt about that.
