That's a pious wish as the Germans say. It's perfectly possible to return as stupid as you set out. People who only stay in their hotel complexes where the staff members speak their language don't even have to realise in which country they are. Sun and sea and good food are enough.

@MALUSE That is true but people usually go traveling for a reason, to explore and experience. People usually do not just sit in hotels on their travels, it defeats its purpose. Through travel you will educate yourself on many things and I agree with her on that.

I have travelled with my boyfriend for 2 consecutive years already. It was in our neighboring countries. Travelling makes our relationship healthier.Even if it makes our body tired, it makes our spirit alive. We have been learning a lot from our travels.

@annierose I understand that. I am the same way. By traveling I form long lasting memories that bring me joy every time I think about it. It is priceless.

I love travelling. I travel because I like to be immerse myself to new cultures. They say when you move out your comfort zone, that is where the magic happens, that is what travelling does to me. I try to travel to a place I have never been before at least once a year. It is always been a dream of mine to go to europe someday because most of my travels were done in Asia given that I live in the Philippines but even just roaming around my country is pretty awesome. We are quite lucky that we have been blessed with beautiful beaches, sceneries and wonderful people. That pretty much sums it up why I love travelling so much!

@AlexD95 Thanks! Please include my country too when you do come to Asia. The Philippines has a lot to offer when it comes to beaches and sceneries.I think you would definitely enjoy it.

And I have traveled throghout Europe mostly and want to go to Asia as soon as I can cause I am fascinated by countries like Japan, China and Indonesia. I really hope I get to explore these countries in the near future. I hope you get to fullfil your dreams as well!

Me personally I find beauty in each and every new country I visit. In every country I visit I try to experience it like a local, by eating traditional food, drinking their drinks, studying people and seeing what they like and dislike.
As for my preferences I also like my country and countries that surround me like Abdul said. I am from Croatia but Bosnia, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, Montenegro are all so extremely beautiful as well. People and languages are similar but yet every single country is different somehow.

travelling is interesting.but I don't have any plan to travel abroad out of my country, because in my country (Indonesia) still has a lot of places to visit. I do travelling just for fun and to explore the new places and cultures that I had never known before. commonly I do travelling once in a year.

Oh yes definitely. Indonesia is an extremely beautiful country indeed. I have friends who went there and they told me how beautiful Indonesia really is. I will have to visit it in the future.

Not as often as I used to, but I love traveling for so many reasons. It opens your eyes to different culture and customs, amazing architecture and history. And of course, experience different kinds of cuisine.
