How Could She Bought Lots of Clothes!

Relative to my post below we were so amazed as to why Auntie have amassed so much new clothes with still tags on them , sending them here over for more than 10 years .
Her answer is she just keep buying them when she was still working as one of the supervisors at Macy’s , whenever they have the clearance sale .
But they have a uniform though so she wasn’t able to wear them . Besides she said , they have four seasons there in the US so , each season she has lots of appropriate clothes .
And she can’t remember buying them anymore because she’s now 81 and can’t find any more occasions to wear them except when they go to church each Saturday . And for that , she wears those simple long dresses or denims and shirts .
You see , since when she was still single she love clothes , accessories and shoes . She was able to continue it because they have no child and her deceased hubby was an engineer .
But now that she’s old and retired she said she don’t need them anymore except for the practical ones for the hot season here and some winter clothes if she travels .
Good thing she found me to model them at the office but have to explain to my office mates that I didn’t buy them but was given by her because they might think how I was able to afford all those . 
And there will be a lot more boxes to open . 
Just sharing my happy thoughts .

Last Sunday , when I arrived home from roaming around the mall after going to 11:00 a.m. mass , hubby and her auntie from the US , have opened two boxes...

@sunrisefan Most of the blouses were made in India , China and Vietnam. The denim pants were Levi's , unfortunately they were still of bell bottom and was too tight on me , so i didn't have any new pants . Hubby got a lot and most were LEVI's .

Actually yes . The new storeroom was filled with her balikbayan boxes maybe more than 30 . And she's now one by one since the other week opening them .
The dining room sala is so much a mess with opened boxes where she put those to be given away are on top of one another yet to be filled with clothes to be chosen as give away for those soon to be opened other boxes .

Yes, they are new ones since i have mentioned they still have tags on them . 
Every time i am with the new blouse, my officemates would gush and say , " how we wish she's also our auntie . "
And each day i wear my auntie's gifts , auntie would be so happy and would say , it fits you so nicely .
She's also generous with praises .

It's good that she brought her clothes to give away .. As we get older, we don't need a lot of clothes anymore.. not even a lot of shoes and accessories .. Comfort is more important ...

That is true . so she is giving away those that she thinks isn't to be worn be her anymore . Though , she retained her gowns and had a sturdy metal clothesline for all of them .
She told me that if ever i need a gown i can just choose from the , I wonder when will that time be ?

Really . And it must be fun to work at Macy's . I read about Macy's before and i was fascinated .
So , that's why she bought a lot of clothes - the employee's discount too .

just like my aunt.. she don't have children so she just buy stuffs for her brothers and sisters , nephews and nieces.. i missed her..

On weekdays when i report to work , she likes to see me wearing them and she would gush to say she's happy they fit me well .
Each time i wear a new blouse of hers , i would tell here it's hers because she can;t remember which is which because sometimes i wear my own blouses .

Indeed , that's why i am so thankful to her and for God for giving me an aunt-in-law that is so generous . She likes giving most of those beautiful blouses to me . Maybe because i wear them to the office and when i wear them and she sees them , she would say wow, it fits you so well .
