Okay Koop get your posterior in gear!

Been kind of fizzling on myLot lately. To the point that I might miss payout for the month if I don't smarten up. I've got less than a dollar to go but have been stalling for days now. Did get useful work done around home. The demolition/recycling job that I started and mentioned a few weeks ago is complete. My boys and I went and recovered the remaining tongue and groove material. The rest is either too rotted or too full of nails to even consider cutting up for firewood. My temporary shop on the back of our hunt camp got a bit of work as well. I'm tired of the mud floor and graveled it over from my secret gravel stash (I talked about that in a previous post as well. I also found a missing tool that will be a big help when I get around to repairing the floor in our kitchen/laundry area. Been keeping busy but I need to spend a little time here and catch up a bit tonight.

You sound pretty busy. I also have been busy, with school starting and our washer quit, I found a washer and dryer set for a good price on the online yardsaler, so after we took out the washer and dryer, put in the new one, had the recycyling guy come pick up the washer, and now tonight we are going to deliver the dryer to a friend of mine who needs one. I also started edting my novel and determine to get 50 or more pages done by Sept. 8

Lots on my plate. Our washer is close to dying. We are looking for a replacement. Needs to happen fairly soon.

@koopharper I have various groups on Facebook, do you have something like that? I have found (and gotten rid of) many items.

@Carmelanirel2 I do as well. I have a possible line on one locally. I think we'll find a decent one before long.

I need to get my butt in gear also! I've got $1.30 or so to reach payout for the month, that is with leftover from last month.

A couple or three good days for me would get me there. I just have to sit down and pay attention to my friends here.

@koopharper Ditto for me. I've been a computer addict as of late so I should be able to make it.

@koopharper When I don't have much time to be on here, I just interact more and I still get to the minimum. As you know I don't post my own discussion that much, especially when I don't have the time to be here.

@toniganzon I try to do that but it has been hard to get myself going lately.

There is enough time if I just participate like I normally do.

Sounds like your time has been well spent and that you've gotten a lot of things done that needed your attention. Pretty soon winter will be here and doing anything outside will be halted.

These are all different candle holders/ candy bowls I produced in the past. The painted ones were a gift to my parents. They are back in my possession because when my mother passed away my dad's hoard needed to be scaled back. We will hang onto them as family heirlooms. The shields are from the family crests from both sides of the family. When I get my wood turning business up and running all these styles will in some form or other be available.

@Genipher I actually was inspired to take the style of one of my candlestick designs and turn a couple of matching chess pieces. I hope someday to be able to make a complete set and offer them for sale. The price would be premium though. I'm also considering creating cast versions of both.

@koopharper I thought, at first, that they were chess pieces (I should probably get my eyes checked again...). Upon closer squint, I saw what they really were. They truly are beautiful.

Only want to encourage but if you are doing things like you described I would say focus on those things. However if you are like me I have found I can go away for a spell and when I come back get engaged until the next time. Hope you enjoy in all things.

Stuff has to get done and my writing here really is an extra. I like connecting with the friends I've made here though.

They are all wood turnings I have done in the past. They will be available again if I can ever get myself into position to do so.
