YES you read right - its Salivations instead of Salutations! Early in the morning when I cross the ocean to read the posts of others, they have me salivating with their delicious posts on the Secret of French Fries, Zucchini's with garlic and tomatoes and other decadent dishes. Cruel intentions I would say, therefore I am going to join in with showing you how I celebrated my mom yesterday - Baked Cheesecake at Rosemary's - which is the BEST cheesecake in the world, and believe you me, I have tasted most of them. Today in History - 2 years ago my hubby and I landed in Brussels for a month's holiday in Europe . . . love the flashback and all the memories coming through on FB. Isn't Social Media just the BEST? I love reading morning posts - they set me off in a good mood and its a marvel to know that I have social friends around the globe. warm feeling inside! "“Its really hard to recall the day you became friends with special people.” ~ Michael Bassey Johnson Happy Day!

This looks delicious Lany. Yesterday I finally made a hazelnuts roll instead than a cheesecake. The biscuit is made with chopped hazelnuts, flour and eggs and the inside is a cream of Mascarpone cheese. I should stop making cakes because I eat them.

@Inlemay I can renounce to eat a normal lunch or dinner if I have a cake. It's what I love more.

@LadyDuck me too - but only certain cakes - that hazelnut cake and cheesecake and peppermint crisp tart - those are my best - I dont eat chocolate cake, only Swiss chocolates or Belgium chocolates - quite fussy I am

Your cheesecake is better than ours? Hard to believe. Germany and Austria are the cake countries of the world!

they are - but its not the country that counts - its who makes it. I am sure the recipe comes from one of your countries but my Rosemary's chef is of German decent - and she makes the best one ever! I have had in Germany as well as Holland, but sadly not in Austria

@Inlemay 'of German descent' -- there you have it. Maybe it's a genetic thing, heehee.

thank you - the serenity of the sitting quietly and having something that tasty with a mind full of pictures of my childhood - was a very good plan for me.

Yummy! I love cheese cake. I thought the best cheese cake comes from Germany. Well, it is for me. Nothing beats the German cheese cakes. Besides Schwarzwäldetorte .

@Inlemay And the sauces... Looks like there are yellow-ish and some white sauce... Are they something like custard sauce?
