Does anyone know if Vans make wide size shoes anymore?

I haven't owned a pair of vans in over ten years now. They are such a comfortable show though and very long lasting. There is a Buy one Get One half off sale going on at shoe carnival and I want to go try on a few pairs. I've looked online but every size for every style is the same, 10 Medium. I have somewhat of a wide foot, and from what I have read online? It seems vans has stopped making them in wide sizes. Maybe they've just made them a bit bigger all around, sort of a one shoe fits all deal, but I don't know. Has anyone bought a pair of vans recently and has a wide foot? I don't want to get my hopes up only to have to pick another shoe altogether!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Sometimes buying online you do save money and it can be hit/miss. I sometimes buy extra sizes then return the ones that don't fit if its a great deal. Hope the work out for you!!

@infatuatedbby That's not a bad idea. I wouldn't want to do that for shoes though, but clothes? yeah. Actually I bought a few things the other day a few sizes too big. I like to do that with shirts especially, so that they'll (hopefully) fit in a way that makes the shirt a longer length on my body.

I broke down and shopped online. I saved a little more that way. I did measure my foot and bought a half size bigger and hope it will still work. If not I guess I'll be going back to return them in person at the store.

You should email them and find out for sure. I looked all over the site for maybe special sizing or whatever and found number. The site has changed a lot since I was there last.

I need a new pair of shoes regardless. I just hope I will fit into some vans. I'll be going to shoe carnival most likely Friday.

@ScribbledAdNauseum .....I would check them out and see if they fit you. A sale is a bad thing to waste.

@celticeagle Ok so i broke down and went the lazy route. I bought them online but I did measure my foot. I bought one half size bigger and hope they'll still work. If not I can return them in store. Atleast this method I saved a little more than had I gone to the store itself + I shopped through swagbucks and will get 66 cents back from it when all is said and done.

I have quite a wide foot and rarely buy shoes online for this reason. I don't know how many pairs I've bought that haven't really fit me properly.

I went ahead and bit the bullet. I am hoping that they'll fit me well enough but if not I"ll have to return them and *hope* I can get another brand. I did go a half size bigger.

@ScribbledAdNauseum A half-size bigger was probably a good idea.
