I got an awesome new plant for my birthday

I wanted to make a post about this on my birthday (the 22nd of August) but I didn't get time.
My mother and father bought me two new pairs of sandals. They are the same material as crocs. They got me a used but like new Keurig.
The coolest thing they got me I think is a Sago Palm plant.
I did not have time that day to visit long and they had bought wine coolers for us to share. Yesterday while I waited for the bus to deliver my son after school I sat under their new umbrella which looks tropical and had a wine cooler.

I'm not very good with them either my succulents are doing awful as well as my african violet! On my birthday my mother sent me home with my sisters Parlor Palm plant. The chipmunks won't stay out of it and she never waters it. I added some soil and am hoping I can revive it.

Thank you I think so too! I love it! I need to buy some fertilizer for my other plants but I am having a hard time finding it. I need liquid food for my african violet and can't find it at walmart. I will have to look online and see where I can buy it.

@LeaPea2417 Yep I looked not long after writing this. Walmart online barely has anything. Ebays selection is slim and more expensive. Amazon has a few different options. I will be signing up for Prime again September 1st and then I will buy this then.

That is a very nice looking Sago Palm!
Did you happen to look it up after your parents gave it to you? If so, I hope you noticed that it is poisonous to both humans and pets (dogs and cats, both.)
I see you told someone that it is flourishing in your care, shaggin! That is very nice to know, considering.... uhm... never mind. I am happy it is growing well for you!

My other plants are doing soooo bad. I made a note on my phone of when I water my plants so I will stop over watering them and under watering them. I still need to buy some liquid plant food on amazon. Yes also there is a tag on it that it is poisonus.

@DaddyEvil I bought violet food that you mix a pouch of it in a gallon if water. Then you water the plants each time with that. I did most of my plants with that today I figure they are doing so bad it can't hurt. The succulents just shrivel and fall off everytime I water then which is only every two weeks so I'm going to go at least 3 weeks between and see how that goes.

It is too cold here to do that. It will die in the winter. I can put it outside on warm days in the summer but would have to bring it in at night. It is the hottest month of the year right now but two nights ago it was 45 degrees outside at night brrr.
