He Softly Whispered My Name

Last Sunday , the priest who celebrated the mass was a foreigner but he speaks Tagalog already .
He introduced himself before giving the homily and said he was assigned in a parish in Zambales .
He gave a very touching homily. 
Before finally giving the blessings to end the mass he talked about angels , which he said is assigned to protect each of us. He said we should always talk and acknowledge him . We can also ask him to help us pray .
Thus , after the mass , I also went to buy from the nuns selling small booklets about our archangels and prayers for them too at the front door of the church .
I was told that my archangel is Uriel , after I told one of the nuns when my birthday is .
From then on , I did what Fr . has advised us .
At about 5:30 this morning , I was awakened when I clearly heard a soft yet clear whisper of my name . I turned to see if it was my husband , but he was fast asleep.
I realized it could be my Archangel Uriel . I acknowledged and thanked him for waking me up since it's time for me to prepare breakfast .
It's as if it is an acknowledgment that he heard me cred and cried that night .
His whisper affirmed my belief that there really are angels .

Thank you for sharing this beautiful incident. I was not brought up in a religious family, I am still not religious now, but after reading and exploring during my parenting path, I believe more in God, angels, or any higher sources that I did not believe in. Though I may not have experienced it so firmly like yours, I am sure angels are there guarding and guiding us.

That is very nice . I guess , it is innate that we believe in a higher being that provides us protection ,and guidance . And he has angels to help him .

I do and my guardian angles name is Jonathan. I used to tell the children in my religious education class to close their eyes and ask Iheir guardian angel to tell them their name. I had done it myself after Sister Ann told me how to do it and I heard Jonathan and I have appreciated how he protects me ever since.

So your archangel is Jonathan . at least you know his name so you can greet him every morning and bid him goodnight in the evening.

I know we have all angels that are besides us and demons too, Hard to believe but I think the other side the ones speaking to me, which had made me frightening for years. Maybe I started lacking prayer again.

I believe that if we believe in angels, it's helpful to us. I have adopted St. Francis as my "buddy," whether he knows it or not. He gave up his middle class upbringing to help the poor. And he's a Patron Saint of animals. I don't know if St. Francis's spirit walks among us, but having him as my buddy helps give my life meaning.

Yes, in the angel booklet i bought there isa prayer to the guardian angel for safe travel.
