Good afternoon.left the house just before eight. We head of the Lake. Only an hour from here. This is our third time visiting this place. Very quiet then and things picked up.Traffic is light and most kids headed off to college. It was peace full.I was bathing in the water and the ducks were all around here.As usual did not have a camera here.I call out to Mike but he could not hear me.Wanted a photo shot of my with the ducks. But they scooted on. The water was warm. We left at noontime or later. It was enough for us.But so nice to get away even it is just part of the day.My day of staying all day are gone for me. Three or four hours is plenty. Have a good afternoon. any interest today? The photo as you can see it is mine.

@amadeo I never have bread literally or figuratively. lol Last time I saw ducks I had my dogs with me and I had to do everything I could so they did not eat the ducks.

We want to go to the beach and we just have not had the time yet. No hurry there is always next year if we do not make it this year.

I like the picture that you posted, but a picture of you swimming with the ducks would have been awesome. Sounds like you've found a perfect little beach to enjoy.

@amadeo As much as I love our youth, when places are quieter and less crowded after they return to classes, its a nice time for those of us that no longer have little ones. Nothing like a quiet swim with ducks is there?

I´m mylotting for a little while while I wait for my grandson to arrive. I don´t know what will happen as I haven´t been a parent of young children for almost 40 years

@JohnRoberts no I did not.Not sure what the policy is here.I know a few places do not feed the seagulls I knew about this. But not the ducks.
