Harsh Terms are Definitely a Bad Idea

Let me start this discussion with a question, “Have you ever experienced a boss use harsh terms to his or her employees?” Personally speaking, this is a big NO for me. Despite the nature of the job is too stressful, it is not acceptable to be addressed with harsh terms and not even for our colleagues in the company. This is a sign of unprofessional act. “What do you think?”

Not sure what you mean by "harsh terms". Personally, I don't consider "bad" or "good" harsh.

A boss should not use harsh terms even if his employees had erred. He should act like a professional.

I agree with you. I would have no respect for a boss who was harsh with his employees. Unless the employee did something to warrant it, of course.

They are not leaders but dictators and probably blinded by their own position as a boss in the company. So, what happened when you called their attention? did they appreciate it or just got mad even more?
