"They deleted my discussion and didn't even tell me! Or tell me why! Or ANYTHING! I know I said I read the Terms when I joined, but who reads those? myLot is a bunch of doo-doo dinky-dum heads for not telling me!!! " They DID tell you...and you said you read it. "myLot Discussions *myLot Discussions. myLot Discussions provides a venue for myLot members to start and respond to discussions, questions, articles and more in a forum type setting. myLot has no control over the quality or legality of any content posted on myLot, and therefore is not responsible for the actions of any myLot member. myLot reserves the right to delete any discussion, response, comment, or photo that goes against any myLot guideline or term. I read the TOS several times but I always forget the details, same for the guidelines. Glad you reminded me of that, by the way.

The latest one, probably not, but it seems to be a common complaint.

I do think they need to rewrite the guidelines, make them more black and white, and call them rules.

You can lead a horse to water.....but you can't make him read the guidelines.

Amen. You can even leave a link, and they'll say 'I read them' and then still just do whatever.

@JolietJake I think reading and comprehending are different - they might read but not get it.

People find it hard to accept they have violated the rules, somehow.

Would I be tempting fate to say I haven't had one deleted yet?

Probably not. It's not as though they run around deleting them for no reason, although they could if they wanted to. I had a disagreement with staff a few weeks ago about one...but I kept it within a PM exchange, and didn't turn around and do the exact same thing, or complain in a discussion about it...but then again I am more or less accustomed to losing them occasionally. Sometimes I s-t-r-e-t-c-h the boundaries a bit too far and they snap back on me.

@JolietJake I know they've deleted your from time to time but that's what happens if and when you continually push the envelope. Do you think you might learn from your 'mistakes' eventually?

You can, and on few occasions, you may even get it back, but not if it is a guideline violation.

Disagreeably damp, musty, and typically cold?
