What are you doing?

My WIP project

Every time when my children see me knitting or crocheting, they would ask me what I am doing. I always like to let them guess, and try not to reveal it so soon. It's always nice to hear what they think. I am currently crocheting a toy for my baby. My elder children keep asking me what I am doing. They guessed it's a heart shape, a basket, a ball, etc. What do you think this is? Sorry, I wanted to write what it is earlier, but did not have time to do so. It's actually a monkey. Well, I don't think it's easy to guess, as it can be anything.

I love monkeys. Did you do a post with a picture when you finished it, or have you finished it?

I think I have not write a post about the finished monkey. I have just finished the monkey not long ago, I will go and find the picture soon. Thanks for reminding. My children have always been talking about monkeys lately, since my baby was born.

@kaka135 Not sure what got me to collecting monkeys, apes, gorillas, etc...stuffed ones, of course. My daughter even bought me one of those stretchy bracelets that they have now with monkeys on it. I never take it off just like my other bracelets that I wear.

Yes, it really doesn't look like anything at this moment. It's a monkey, the head of monkey.

I am guessing it is a toy bear or toy doll. Whatever it is I am sure your baby will like it. Please do let us see it when you finish it.

As you say, it could be anything but you have chosen very pretty colours.

Thanks. I actually do not have many yarns left, so just pick these colors. It's actually the head of monkey. If I have brown, I'd have chosen brown. But I don't think kids mind the colors.

@kaka135 A monkey? You'll need to post a photo when you finish. No, I'm sure the kids won't mind what colour it is.

A handbag or Tiffin bag. Is it right? I always stitch cushion covers as it is my side business. Due to the floods in Chennai, India my partner became a pauper and he is still not recovered. The business will pick up soon after he recovers. Till such time I have to manage the things here.

It's actually the head of monkey. Yes, I think it can be turned into a bag after my children told me that too. Your cushion cover looks great! I wish I have the patient to make such a big item. I usually just make small toys for my children. Hope your business partner will recover very soon. Do you sell your products online?

You are clever to be able to do things like that, but I've no idea what it is.
