There are some people who say that to achieve the best result, it is better to blend lemon with skin intact.
I think that will produce a horrible taste in the lemon juice.
I have blended lemon without skin, and I keep the juice in the fridge so that I can drink it every day.
I have not tried to blend the whole lemon (with skin) before.
Whenever I blend the lemon, i cut off the peel, soak the slices of peels in water, and use it for shower, and house-cleaning.
It is not exactly a waste, though I do not have the benefits of getting the nutrients from the peels.

I think it is better to blend with the lemon skin. If it tastes worse, then you can try to add some honey and it will taste well after the lemon juice is freezing. I don't blend the lemon. I will slice it into pieces than put them into the honey. After that, I will put it in the fridge. When I want to drink it, I will take it out and add some water.
