~He Was Tested For Cancer~

My husband holding Julian

My husband went to the ER the other day because he was having severe back pain, and other more personal issues such as bleeding when using the bathroom. It's been happening off and on for several months now (the back pain). The bleeding has been happening for years. One day he will wake up in severe pain, the next it is bearable. The doctor told him he didn't like how the physical exam went so he needed further testing done. He went for that the other day. We are waiting for the results and his primary doctor wants him to get a few more tests done as well. The ER doctor asked him about cancer and if it ran in his family, what types, how his bowel movements are & have been for years, etc... I am not going to worry as I know God has this in His hands. Of course every now and then it crosses my mind and when it does I pray about it. If y'all could say some prayers that everything is okay I would appreciate it.

I am like @Mike197602 here, I don't do prayers, but sending you my best wishes. I don't think that the doctor should have scared you like this. Sometimes, back pain is just some stretched muscles and goes away on its own.

@marlina Well thank you for the good wishes, I appreciate it. =) The doctor did some exams at the hospital first and didn't like what he saw which is why he sent him for more testing. That wasn't the doctor's first conclusion.

Aw Jenn, you have my full support and I'll be saying prayers, both for your sanity (its gotta be nerve wracking) as well as for the best outcome for your hubby. You've got a great frame of mind in putting it into the Lord's hands, don't let go of that feeling.

As you know, I don't do the prayers thing...but I'm sending best wishes Back pain can come from nowhere, I've had it a lot and I'm still here Sometimes it can even be due to how you sleep on a particular night. You're doing the best thing by getting it checked out though

I certainly will, and God will take care of him, of that I have no doubtl. I am hoping and praying too, that he is fine as you shouldn't have to worry about things like that, although I can certainly understand it, as I would certainly worry too. I just know that he will fine though.

@LovingMyBabies I am too. He is just waiting for us to call on him, and he does answer but not always in the way we would want him too. Ism going through some rough trials too, and he will gist me through them, even though it may seem impossible, as nothing is impossible with God.

Sending a quick prayer right now. The back pain wouldn't concern me a great deal but the blood would. My positive thought in that regard is that he's had it for quite some time and it sounds like it could have less serious implications.

I'm sorry. What a sweet photo. Last fall suddely I had to call 911 and get an ambulence out to us cause my husband got very ill, bleeding like I've never seen. He ended up with surgery but seems to be better now. God go with you and yours.

I'd say (HOPE) that since he's had issues for years that it is probably NOT cancer. Of course, you gotta check it out. Because even if it wasn't, things can change. But my bet is that he's ok! :-) Thinking of you!

@jillybean1222 We have been thinking crohn's disease is what he has for years. But with the other symptoms the doctor is concerned. He has low energy, blood in his bowels, lower back pain and gets light headed/dizzy when he doesn't eat enough.
