Where does time fly

I wanted to be here on mylot this weekend and we had friends , groups of them visiting us. First three of my friends came home.. it was a planned visit as we planned it a month ago. They were to come home for a couple of hours but they hung around until dinner time. Then my husband brings home a colleague of his, whom he met while he was on one of his weekend errands.
A bunch of young men, my son's fiends decided to descend upon us and spend almost the whole of Sunday in our home.
All my plans and errands that had to be done this last weekend was blown in the wind. Its seem every weekend gets busier than the other.. Time seem to fly past me..
Today I am stuck with so much cleaning up from the weekend and loads of work to be done...
I wanted to watch a play on Saturday last and now I will have to wait for it to be staged at a another venue in October. I was a bit disappointed.. but then life happens between our plans.
Where does time go?? Do you ever feel this way?

I often feel that way. It seems time passes so quickly. I often wonder where it goes. You think you have lots of time to do something and then the time is here and gone. Seems the older I get the faster it goes.

It depends on two things...
if you are working or engrossed in some activities then surely time will fly by fast..
else if you have no work and lazying around then those 5 mins feels like an hour.

Life doesn't always go as planned and i feel the same way. I tend to want to do things on the weekends then other things happen and things don't work out. I hope you can get caught up on what you had planned and cleaning etc.

Indeed life happens between our plan. I understand that feeling. Tomorrow I might not be here because I am hosting a baby shower party for a niece. It was not in my plan Her Mom just called me today to do that. Just imagine that she did not even give me the chance to do it some other day.

That's the first thing I ask myself first thing in the morning when I look at myself in the mirror .. lol.. If only I could fly with time,I would know the answer to that question ..

@epiffanie Lol this week has almost gone by and this month is now right in the midway.. I wonder where its gone.. I have hardly found the time to come here online for a few hours these two weeks.

Such is life. We can plan all we want to but things don't always go as is planned. I am glad that you do have the opportunity to see the play again later.

My weekend was similar in that it flew by and I was so busy. I didn't get to spend much time here either which was disappointing
