Another month is coming to it's end, we only have one day left of August and, then it will be time to say goodbye. I have no complaints with August, it was really a pretty good month, but I am glad to say goodbye to it, because I really prefer the colder weather, with the start of September I plan to increase me and, Roogers walks. I really want to be safe though. So, I want to get some pepper spray and, a bear horn. I am ready to get out and, really adventure, now I kind of play it safe, because you really never know what you could meet in the woods, but I want to get new pictures and, see new things. So, I will just take my phone with me and, pray for the best.

@TRBRocks420 That is great you are going for new trails! A least you won;t get in a rut always walking the same places each day! Be sure to let somebody know when you are going out on these new adventures until you get used to new places!

What are you most likely to encounter? Here, the coyotes leave us alone. The turkeys make us laugh. The Fence Lizards mostly scurry away. The red tailed hawks know we're too big to eat. The turkey vultures circle and hope we die, but we don't. I hear of mountain lions, but have never seen one. The rattlesnakes are only dangerous if we surprise them. Muggers rarely kill people on mountain trails. There are no bears left here.

There is never any guarantee, that a Coyote will leave you alone, but likely they will, unless one happens to be rabid or you come along more than one, they often travel in packs too at times. I also don't think there is any Bears left here, but I have heard the possibility of Black Bears or Mountain Lions, which could be extremely dangerous, there is even no guarantee, that there isn't Wolves and, even Deer or Elk have potential to be dangerous.
