I watched a movie " The Boy in the Striped Pajamas," and I think it must be saddest movie ever made. Have you watched any movies you'd like to nominate for the title of Saddest Movie Ever Made?

I wonder why you don't mention what the film is about.

I thought maybe it was a well-known movie, but it seems it's not so well known. It is about a young Jewish boy in Nazi Germany during WWII, and the son of an high-ranking officer who befriends him. Recommended for anyone who wants a good cry. Keep some tissues nearby.

@clrumfelt I think this info should be included in the post so that other readers can also get it. Not everybody reads all comments in a comment thread.

Sophie's Choice. I never watched the movie you're referring to, because these days I avoid sad movies. I've seen all the sad I need to, lol.

I agree there is too much sad in the world. I told my husband the local news should be rated R or at least PG-14 nowadays because all they tell on there is crime and violence.

Someone Uploaded the whole movie "Boy with striped Pajamas" I think I will watch it today. I am not sure if you will mind watching an Anime movie from Japan. I know Anime is known for being Violent but the Anime movie " When Marnie was here" is not violent because it is drama. A very emotional and moving Drama. it is nominated for an Oscar! It is recently released in the US with English dub. it is about a Blue eyed orphan girl from Japan who felt like an outcast because she is adapted and she is racially discriminated as school because she is mixed race. One day she will meet this White girl named Marnie and she will befriend her. Sounds like a simple story but all critics cried and gave it a positive review. Hollywood stars like Hailey Stanfield and Vanessa Williams are voice actors for the English version.
