Sometimes I see some people spending more money borrowing and buying expensive things like clothes and gadgets and spending more money than they earn. What is your opinion about spending more than one earn?

This is a very bad habit of our modern society. People should never spend more than they earn.

Nice to know that you spend money that you have.

Honestly, I don't think it's a good idea at all. I think we should spend within our means. I do understand it's not always easy, but I don't think it's a good idea to borrow money just to buy clothes and such. It doesn't make much sense to me.

Sometimes we do. Like buying a home. But if it is not for establishing an asset of some value that can cover the borrowed amount, it is not worth it. Nope...we should not in other situations. Generally such people also end up borrowing and creating unnecessary fights.

It is good to buy things that are necessary as you have said by borrowing money, but not good to buy things to show off to others by buying expensive things.

Spending beyond one's means is very unwise and leads to numerous problems and destroyed relationships.
