Do You Drink Pop?

One of my weaknesses has been drinking pop. I usually kept it at one glass a day. I like carbonated pop best. For the last two weeks, I have avoided drinking pop. I've decided that it's one my step to reigning in my diet. I avoided drinking diet pop over the years. I tended to stay with Coke, Pepsi, Vernors, and Dr.Pepper. Do you drink pop? If so, what is your favorite.

I drink diet pop every now and then. Any pop that maintains its fizz for a long period of time is fine with me. Diet Pepsi loses fizz as soon as you open the can, from my experience.

I can't stand diet pop. I don't like the after taste. About the only diet pop that I can stand is Vernors.

@zebra2222 My husband hates diet pop too. And, regular pop has a bad taste to me. Humans are a strange bunch!

@corbin5 I never drink diet colas as the taste is horrible! I like diet drinks like Sprite, 7-up or ginger ale! But never cola in the diet. I do like caffeine free Pepsi that is pretty good and keeps me from being hyper without the caffeine!

I don't really like it anymore. I like punch like Hawaiian punch, and I like grape Snapple a lot. I used to love this stuff called Delaware Punch when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it for years. I also drank orange Nehi, loved the stuff.

I prefer Juicy Juice because it is all juice. I don't like drinking fruit drinks that are primarily sugar, corn syrup etc.

Good for you. Nothing good comes out of drinking pop. Too much sugar and too many calories.

I do enjoy a nice cold glass of diet Coke or Pepsi almost every day. It satisfies my sweet cravings

I've never really been a great fan of 'cool drink' as it's called here. And it's full of sugar. We just never buy it.

It's tough to stop drinking it if you are used to it. Your way is the best.

@zebra2222 We stopped taking sugar in our coffee and switched to low-fat milk when Vin was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. That was hard enough for us. It was some weeks before we began to enjoy our coffee again.

No, I don't drink soda on a regular basis. Rarely if I am out to lunch will I order a diet soda. I drink water at home.

Water is best. Keeps you hydrated. I'm also big on drinking milk and orange juice.

Dr Pepper is my favorite. I also like the vanilla cherry combinations. I keep it down to a bottle a week.

@zebrra2222 I sometimes drink it. When I do, it is either sprite or sams choice cola from Wal-mart! I have been drinking more water and juices lately!

I used to drink it way too often, but cut way back a few months ago. Now, I only really have it when we go out to eat somewhere.
