Potential Job Opportunity but I don't think it's for me

I have a company who has been emailing me repeatedly in regard to a management position with their company. I read reviews of the company online, and they actually seem pretty decent. However, those who had worked for them,,said the training is intense,,,you are monitored alot, and have to work hard,,plus it is an independent contractor position...and I would rather be a regular employee. I could talk to them about it...it wouldn't hurt...but honestly I like what I am doing now...if I was making more money..and had some benefits I would be thrilled! I might tell these people to check back with me, but that I am not interested t this time. I just don't want to work that hard honestly, and it would be a radical change for me. Have you ever had something like this happen?

It's always a bit tempting isn't it to see what is on the other side of the fence.

If you're satisfied where you are that would be the biggest factor for me. But I've never been in your shoes.

I am not satisfied.. but it can be pretty good..I just wish I had more money...there is a limit as to how much work is available and there are no benefits. I will probably need something else eventually...I will keep this other job in mind..but I don't think it is right for me at this point in time.

If you really think it is not for you then I think you should not take it. Most of the time our instincts are correct so I say go with your instincts. It happened to me when I got an offer, I did weigh my decision and checked the pros and the cons but still I went with my first choice, my gut instinct and I feel i made the right decision. It is still up to you though. No regrets!

Yes, I would agree with you. Even though the job may pay a lot of money..I wouldn't see it as a "good fit" for me. I think it is best to spare myself and everyone else aggravation.
