September Morn, Quite Nostalgic and Happy

Just like the song "September Morn" by Neil Diamond, this September morning was quite nostalgic and happy for me. While feeling the cool breeze while having deep breaths below the trees, I can feel the happy thoughts that September brings. For one, I remembered the nurses wishing me "Merry Christmas" on Sept.1, 2008, while they were wheeling me towards the operating room for hysterectomy. I was praying hard, and wished I can celebrate the coming Christmas. September is also the start of the "ber"months which will culminate in December when we celebrate Christmas Day. Also the Halloween on November 1 where we visit the graves of departed relatives. Is there anything special for you that you remember this September?

Wake me up when September ends by Green Day is all i could think of. That song became popular when i was taking the Integrated BAR exam and I was wishing for September to end soon. It's something I want to forget and not remember at all. The roller coaster emotion was just too much to handle.

@acelawrites No I'm not. I didn't make it. I don't have plans to take it again. It was very frustrating to fail when I knew all the answers to the questions. Just not fair.

So September is so meaningful to you also because of the Bar exams. So you successfully made it? So you are Atty. Toni.

when i went to the supermarket, i was greeted by 'santa claus is coming to town' hahaha! 'september morn' is a sad song to me. i also like 'wake me up when september ends,' though it's also quite sad. i think halloween is october 31 and not all filipinos observe it, unlike all saints day (nov 1) and all souls day (nov 2) which is part of our culture and religion.

I'm also fond of the -ber months. I think autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. I grew up in an area that has a large variety of leaves that change colors in the fall. We still have changing leaves here in California, but it's not quite like it is in Pennsylvania. September means apples and grapes and pumpkins are coming into season, and apple cider will be available in the stores.
