Not The Same Spot!

When you already have a small burn at the base of your right thumb while frying something and, two days later, bam! Hot oil popped and hit almost the same darn spot! Grr... Ever had that happen? Or accidentally bumping an injured body part? Or stumbling or hitting your head on the same spot every freaking time? We either forgot about it, in a hurry, preoccupied, clumsy or just unlucky that day.

I think it's called Murphy's Law - of all the places you bump/hit/splash/burn - it's bound to be where it can hurt the most!

With me it is because I am clumsy. I always trip or fall over my own feet.

Oh yes, I do that a lot.. Specially bumping my toes on the corners.. And I always stab my right hand middle finger with needles.. I should wear thimble but I could never get used to it..

wearing shoes and walking can be awkward and painful if it's the toes.

Yes, this happens all the time, but I believe that we notice just because we already had a problem. Sometimes I see a black spot on my arm or leg and I did not even know when and where I hit it.

yeah, i mentioned to another commenter that i'm surprised about the 1-inch red scratch on my lower shin. same with bruises. i would sometimes notice a green/yellow stain somewhere on my skin and when i touch it, it's tender and hurts a little.

@Yar_Joey i always cover it, but the hot oil knows the right time to pop - when i uncover it to flip the fish!

@hereandthere Better cover the food that you fry, or use the cover to shield yourself when the frying starts. Hahah!

What is very painful is when you hit your elbow on a corner of the table or the door.

i know there's a particular spot that when you hit it, you'll feel something like a current shooting from your elbow to your hand.

I once got a hairline fracture on my toe (I'm a klutz). Naturally, I had to keep hitting it against everything and making it worse. It was awful. lol

Oh my! I am also like that. Sometimes my right feet hit my left feet when I walk and I hate that. The black point in my left leg will not disappear because every time it gets brown again, my right feet hit the left feet again. I know it's funny but it's true.

i did mention to someone that i used to have problems with my incisors so i would have sores inside my lower lip, left or right. now i remember, yes, it happens when i accidentally bite my cheeks, too! you know it's there and you're trying to avoid it but it still happens.

Of course, the silliest thing I ever did was to put my finger into a pot on the stove to see if the water was nearly boiling. It was!
